Computaleta are happy to announce that we are now the official Master Distributor for 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes.

3M™ DI-NOC™ are self-adhesive decorative films for surface wraps that offer the warmth of woodgrain, the sleek feel of metal or the cool of natural stone.  Lightweight and self-adhesive, they can be applied on site to existing substrates quickly and easily and allow you to get a realistic, natural look, opening up your design options for interior spaces.

Arlette Farland, Director at Computaleta, has been working with 3M for some months to change the way 3M™ DI-NOC™ was available in New Zealand.

“With over 1000 finishes this is a product that is simply impossible to keep stock as it is entirely project driven.  3M recognise this, and we devised a way to make it available to everyone, by the metre, with a two week turnaround.” Arlette says.

She also believes that 3M™ DI-NOC™ could open up a lucrative space in commercial interiors and give signage companies a competitive edge in a growing market environment.

“Our customers are already doing interiors, as we have seen in other crossover markets, these industries are merging.  The great thing about DI-NOC™ is the expansion of design options with a product our customers understand.  It’s pioneering really. 3M™ DI-NOC™ takes on the fire rating of the substrate underneath, so the benefits of fabricating in aluminium, which our customers are really good at, and then wrapping in wood grain to get a wood finish, which our customers are also really good at, means that you end up with a lifelike finish that’s lightweight and meets building code standards easily,”  Arlette says.

3M™ DI-NOC™ also allows the flow of that design right through the interior space be it a store or a business, carrying the brand across multiple surfaces that you might not have otherwise been able to achieve.
